Narcissistic Abuse Recovery
Narcissistic abuse can leave deep emotional wounds that are often misunderstood or minimized. Many individuals come to therapy feeling confused, self-doubting, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from their sense of identity after experiencing manipulation, gaslighting, chronic invalidation, or control within a relationship. These experiences can make it difficult to trust yourself, others, or even your own reality.
My work in this area is informed by specialized training and years of clinical experience supporting individuals impacted by narcissistically abusive and emotionally abusive relationships. I help clients understand the dynamics of abuse, process the emotional and psychological impact, and rebuild self-trust, boundaries, and personal agency. Therapy is a space to name what happened, make meaning of it, and begin moving forward without shame or self-blame.
Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed interventions, I support clients in addressing anxiety, trauma responses, and patterns that often develop as a result of prolonged emotional abuse. Whether you are currently in a difficult relationship, healing from a past one, or navigating the aftermath of leaving, you don’t have to do it alone. Healing is possible, and support is available.
